Five years in, this is our first proper summer knit.

I took inspiration from Rory's fond childhood memories of flying a kite on Ainsdale Beach with his grandad.

We chose two bold colour ways to reflect the bright ribbons stitched into the blue sky as the kites swoop and wheel with the wind.

You'll often hear Rory and I talking about our core principle of designing for life. To us, that means to be lived in and to last.

We made this knit for those summer days dedicated to your favourite past times, even when the weather never quite makes up its mind.

Warm in the sun, cool in the breeze. Maybe the odd shower. Always doing things you love.

Our shoot day was an absolute hoot. What started as a rainy grey morning at the cottage grew into a beautiful blue sky once we were out on the hill.

The wind was up. Perfect for kite flying, but trickier for product photographs...

But that’s how we like it. Real, authentic and full of character.

We had the best time showing our models, Tilly and Owen, how to fly the stunt kite and the lightweight knits proved the perfect companion for the changing conditions of the day.

Rory and I had been road testing these lightweight knits since last summer. So it came as no surprise to us that they excelled whilst frolicking in the Warwickshire countryside.

Over the months of wear, the knits naturally rolled into our regular rotations, softening with each wear and familiarising to our shape.

This is how Rory and I think knitwear should be. Easy to wear, easy to live in and better the more you use it.

We hope you like them as much as we do!

Made to order in small numbers, focusing on longevity rather than excess. This is a slower way of doing things, but one we believe in.
