Product Details

The jumper that started it all! The ultimate in luxury knitwear, this 100% Cashmere jumper is made using the finest yarns available. Raw fibres are sourced by Todd & Duncan from nomadic Mongolian goat herders, and processed into beautifully soft cones of yarn at their factory on the banks of Loch Leven, a nature reserve, in Scotland.

Not all yarns are created equal. It is the length of the fibre which makes the difference to the quality of a yarn. Todd & Duncan seek out the longest raw fibre fleece, scouring out shorter hairs, imperfections and impurities before spinning to create the best yarn possible. Like a rope, a yarn is made strong by twisting the fibres together. Longer fibres create more twists and a stronger bond. 

Carefully knitted in Aberdeenshire, using a seam free whole garment crafting process means this Navy Blue Cashmere Sweater is knitted as a tube in one single piece. This process creates considerably less waste material than traditional flat knitting and means there is less chance of dropped stitches. 

All these elements tied together creates a special piece of knitwear which is made British, and built to last.

To ensure the best fit, lay your favourite sweater out flat and compare our measurements to those of yours. Measurements are taken in centimeters.

Our Cashmere Sweaters fit true to size, however do let out a small amount after use. Our models are both 6ft1" / 187cm, and are wearing a size large.

Caring for you garment

In order to keep your garment in premium condition it's important to look after it. When it comes to washing, we recommend you hand wash your jumper with mild wool detergent and water temperature up to 30 degrees. You should then rinse it until the detergent is removed. Once you have done this, squeeze any excess water out.

To dry your jumper, lay out a towel and place it on top. Re-shape the jumper so that it resembles how it was before the wash. Now leave it to air dry naturally.

To keep your jersey looking smart we recommend that you use a de-pilling device to remove any bobbles which appear during the first few wears. The more you use your jumper, the less this will happen as it is simply shedding any fibres loosened during the knitting process.

Repairs

We believe that all things should last as long as physically possible. Thats why we’re excited to announce that we will soon be launching our knitwear repair and recondition service. This means that if any unfortunate accidents befall your Sims Wear jumper, you can send it back to us to be repaired.
